Virginia Beach Plans Supportive Housing for Those with Mental Illness

VBCDC and NAMI proposed a development of 45–60 units, some reserved for people with mental health needs, with on-site services and NAMI’s regional headquarters embedded in the complex. This project aims to merge affordability with supportive services in a single campus. If realized, it would mark a new standard in combining housing and mental health infrastructure.
