Eligibility Requirements

• Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.7, and plan to attend a 2 or 4 year college or technical school.

• Applicants must currently reside in a property owned by Virginia Beach Community Development Corporation.  

 

Application Deadline

• Applications, and all accompanying documentation, must be received by the application deadline of April 29, 2015 by 4:00 p.m. Late applications will not be accepted.

 

Application Submittal

• Applications may be submitted by one the following options:

  • Mail:  VBCDC, Attention: Scholarship Committee, 2400 Potters Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23454

  • Drop off at the VBCDC Main Office at the address listed above.      

 

Scholarship Amount and Selection                              

• Virginia Beach Community Development Corporation will be awarding two (2) scholarships of $500 each.

• Applications will be reviewed and recipients selected by a committee from VBCDC. The scholarships will be awarded in May 2016.
